Surgical Dermatology is a specialized skill built into the dermatologist’s practice. Your care starts with a detailed evaluation, we take time to study your skin for cost effective treatment, which may include asking questions about your medical history and performing a thorough skin exam. For complex problems, we may take a tissue sample to perform tests. We often send samples to a dermatopathologist, who evaluates the tissue under a microscope and provides a diagnosis including a report for immediate reference.
